We reached our goal of becoming the highest ranking dive center possible with PADI.
In September we realized one of our greatest accomplishments as a Dive Center when we were accepted by PADI to become Grand Cayman’s newest Instructor Development Center. This is such a prestigious rating for us and we are so excited about the future!
We love to teach all levels of scuba diving at Living The Dream Divers and have been passionate about scuba instruction since we started our company. As a result, we have introduced thousands of people to the world of scuba through Discover Scuba Diving experiences and have certified thousands of divers from beginner all the way to Divemaster. Now we are able to teach our students to become Open Water Scuba Instructors so we are able to offer all steps on the scuba diving ladder which makes us a well rounded dive center. Just like our dive trips, our Instructor Development Courses are only offered in small groups with no more than 6 students. This allows our students to receive personal attention and a small group atmosphere making the quality of learning and enjoyment top notch.
October 11-23, 2014 we held our first Instructor Development Course and had 4 students from Canada come down and go through the course. It was so much fun and our candidates learned so much about how to teach scuba while developing their own skills as instructors. Each candidate passed the Instructor Examination and there are now 4 more PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors in the world.
We have a comfortable, air conditioned classroom a giant stride away from one of the best shore diving sites on island at Turtle Reef. With affordable, pristine oceanfront accommodations as our partner, we are all set to offer some of the most rewarding Instructor Development Courses in the world. We will be scheduling more courses this year in February 2015, April 2015 and October 2015. Call or email us for more details! .
