Our pricing is extremely competitive, we take small groups, and our infrastructure is second to none. We are a small business. Cancellations, and no shows have a huge effect on us. We have always joked that if you think you might cancel, please don’t book! However, we totally understand life sometimes gets in the way of the things we want to do. As such, we have updated our cancelation policy.
Starting July 1st, 2024 the following is our cancellation policy for all our trips and courses. This policy replaces any existing polices. Please be sure to read this over before making your reservation. If you have any questions please reach out at anytime.
All cancellations must be done with Liz via phone or email – dive@livingthedreamdivers.com. Please do not use text, messenger apps, social media, or rely on telling your boat crew or instructor. We will send confirmation that your dives have been cancelled.

Should you need additional instruction above the time reserved these sessions are charged at $150 and are subject to availability.
Private Charters – To reserve a private charter we require a credit card on file. If you cancel within 7 days of your first charter departure you will be charged in full for all charters booked. Cancelling before 7 days of charter departure date results in no charge.
Plans can change, people get sick, work comes up, planes are cancelled or delayed, and of course weather, are just some things that can happen. We are travelers too, and we know that sometimes these are out of your control. We recommend that anyone booking diving takes out travel insurance to cover the unpredictability of life. Liz and I never leave home without travel insurance. We are not insurance brokers, and have no financial gain in the insurance market. However, we personally use Divers Alert Network, DAN for our travel insurance. DAN are a ‘not for profit’ based in North Carolina. DAN is the leader in dive medicine and understands diving, dive travel and offer excellent coverage. Their insurance has the added benefit of using the money generated to research dive medicine, and safe diving practices.
Having travel insurance means if life gets between you, and the dive’s you want to do, you shouldn’t have to pay out-of-pocket for cancelling.
Inclement Weather – In the unlikely event that weather prevents us from diving, or means we have to abort a trip, there is no charge for dives, courses or charters not completed. This weather rule also includes tropical storms, or hurricanes that are forecasted to interact with the weather of Grand Cayman. We monitor the weather constantly and have been operating dive boats in the Cayman Islands for over 24 years. We never dive when conditions are not suitable to do so.
