Welcome to Ocean Cabanas, the newest Dive Resort in Grand Cayman! Our bespoke dive resort has been designed from the ground up for you, by us. Our mission was to create the perfect place for our divers to stay. We wanted our passion for nature, diving, attention to detail and valet service to extend beyond the boat to create the perfect surface interval.
In 2015 we purchased an ocean front piece of land and had a big dream. We set about designing accommodations that we would stay in if we were vacationing and diving on Grand Cayman. Located on the North West Point of Grand Cayman, we have some of the most spectacular reefs and sunsets right in front of the property. Over the following 7 years, we spent every waking moment and many dreams thinking about every brick and color choice!
We could not be happier with the resort and the finished product has exceeded our expectations in every way. In February of 2022, we opened Ocean Cabanas Dive Resort.
Ocean Cabanas: A Dive resort for Divers, by Divers
We have built seven fully equipped cabanas. We have 4, ocean front two bedroom cabanas, 2 ocean view one bed cabanas and 1, three bedroom ocean view cabana. All cabanas are king suites with en suite bathrooms, full kitchens from Italy, separate living rooms and private outdoor lanais and green space. Each cabana has access to the resort’s pool and secret garden spaces. Each Cabana comes fully equipped with flat screen TV’s, BBQ, scuba gear drying racks, luxury king beds, outdoor showers, wifi and fully equipped kitchens to cook, relax and enjoy your surface interval.

We took our big boat and small group dive model and applied it to Ocean Cabanas with a low density foot print. Delivering the best customer service to small groups, the resort has plenty of space and you will never be crowded.
Dive Resort w/ Unlimited Shore Diving
We are on the iron shore which gives us access to the best shore diving in the Cayman Islands. Staying with us allows you to enjoy multiple dive sites just minutes from your Cabana. You also have unlimited access to our shore diving facility from our dive shop in George Town on the waterfront. While you have a full kitchen ready for even the most acclaimed chef, the resort is located next to some amazing food options. Next door is Vivo Cafe which serves island inspired fish dishes and plant based options. It’s a licensed bar and cafe. Macabuca is 1/4 mile north of the property and is one of the islands best ocean front dining experiences. They are open seven days a week 11am to late. If you are looking for fine dining options, Calypso Grill (our favorite) is a short 10min drive from the property.
Our Grand Cayman dive resort is ocean front but does not have a beach. This is perfect for diving, snorkeling and offers the best ocean views and exquisite sunsets facing due West. The resort is a short drive from some the best beaches on island. No need to fight for chairs or be crowded paying for over priced drinks. Your cabana has beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a map to our favorite island beaches.
